●About the edge series
シルクスクリーンの「about the edge series 」では色層を重ね絵画の表面性を模索した結果、自分の意識が絵の具の層が重なる縁に集中していくのを感じた。
和紙の表と裏から色を重ねていたからだと思う。さらに和紙の縁同士を塗って袋状にして見ると縁や、思いがけない部分を絵の表面にすることができた。
About the edge series は絵画に対しての私なりの関わり方だ。
●About the edge series
Though the creation of silkscreen “about the edge series”, I explored the surface of the painting by adding layers of colors. As a result, I felt my consciousness focused at edges as the layers of paints were added upon.
This is probably because I was adding color layers from the font and back side of Japanese traditional paper ‘washi’.Moreover, when I painted the edges of washi and fabricated a tunnel shape, the edges and unexpected parts could became the surface for my painting.
About the edge series is how I Interact and engage with painting.
